Linking the crafts of quilt making and film editing this series uses 16mm found footage, cut in the shape of a quilt pattern, to bring together neglected material histories of cinema and craft. From a distance the film quilts resemble stained glass, and up close, the photographic stills can be examined within tactile proximity as opposed to the typical projected image.
