In summer 2025, for the first time I grew zucchinis, tomatoes, carrots, beets, beans, onions, basil, parsley, cilantro, and a mix of flowers. I learned so many lessons about caring for vegetables and started paying close attention to the patterns of sun and rain. After finding some expired photo paper, I leaned into lumen printing with what was immediately available. The thinned beets, the wild morning glory that smothered the lavender, the wet mandevilla petals after an atmospheric river, the crunch of nasturtiums, and the juicy berries on a virginia creeper.
